How to Take Your Dog on a Bicycle Ride

Why Cycle with Dogs? Cycling is a great way for both you and your dog to get exercise and a healthy dose of fresh air. It allows you to cover more distance than by walking, while being slow enough to appreciate the scenery and the world around you.

I have a Cynthia's Twigs bicycle basket for my little dog. As she's growing older, it's been a fabulous way to spend a lot of time outside where I get the bulk of the exercise. We typically ride for awhile, then I let her out for a walk. When she's tired, we load up and ride on. Great fun, highly recommended!
