Where do you get your data? Approximately 20% of US companies nationwide? Most business I know are not dog-friendly unless they are privately owned by a dog-owner/lover. This is a shame, as dogs do add to the workplace in a positive way. I'm very curious to know the source of your statistic.
These figures come from a 2006 survey by the American Pet Products Association (APPA), read more information at takeyourdog.com.
My company, Napa Home and Garden, is also "dog friendly". The company is a wholesaler of upscale home and garden products. In fact, the new summer catalog will feature Lucy, Jackson, Daisy and Sadie. It's fun to have them around.
