I thought the same thing about it being so appropriate because New York is such a melting pot of cultures! It would be perfect.
I love it! As a NYer and the proud owner of a rescue dog myself, I say yes yes yes!!
This is a wonderful bi-partisan effort on the part of Assemblyman Micah Kellner (D), Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal along with Rochester Joseph Robach, a state senator (R)! I'm stoked and am going to feature this as my blog post tomorrow. Can't believe I'm just seeing this. Anybody who knows me knows my mission in life is to Unite, Elevate and Celebrate MUTTS! GO NY State!
